No one will argue that it has been a strange summer in New York. We had a beautiful, hot May, an unbelievably rainy June, a mild July, and an August that was, well, perfect.
Having a few days to myself this August, I've tried to seek out some pretty spots in my neighborhood. Who would have thought this field of flowers could be found in the East Village?
Don't panic, there is a trash can in front of it.
We're still in New York, after all.
The good thing is that there is a bench there, too. A perfect spot to relax and read the paper.
No, that's not me.
For now!
